About Our Club
The Northwest Early Stocks Club brings back the look of old time racing. We run original steel car bodies produced between 1928 and 1940. Most cars have frames from newer pickups such as Toyota and Dodge D-50. All cars must weigh a minimum of 2100 pounds and have leaf spring suspension at all four corners. The engines in these cars are either inline sixes or flathead V-8's limited to 310 c.i.d.
The mission of the Northwest Early Stocks Club is to preserve racing memories for the older generation and to pass memories of racing "the way it used to be" to
a new generation of race fans.
We race mostly at Stateline Speedway in Idaho located between Spokane Washington and Coeur d'Alene Idaho. We also travel to other tracks such as Spokane County Raceway, Wenatchee and Ephrata. Check the schedule and come out to see this exciting, competitive and fast form of open wheel racing.
